I have worked in the film industry in post production since 1985, having worked as editor, assistant editor, and post production supervisor.
I started making my own films in 1971 and have since received both a BA and an MFA in Film production. In addition to my editing expertise, I can also educate someone regarding using video cameras to their best advantage. I am always interested in finding out what the student is interested in doing and lean the tutoring towards that type of film or video.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been heavily involved with Toastmasters International since June of 1993, and have won over 100 speech contests in the organization. I have given many evaluations of other speakers and helped them to be more powerful, entertaining, and effective. I firmly believe that any presentation, no matter how dry or technical, can be made more engaging and interesting.
