I have been teaching American Sign Language (ASL) for almost 16 years from high school to college. I am currently teaching ASL at the college-level and have bene doing so for almost nine years.
Teaching ASL has always been my passion and I enjoy working with anyone at any age level. It is always inspiring to see the students get so excited to learn ASL. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
