About Salar

I am a lawyer licensed to practice law in the State of California and Washington, D.C. My law firm engages in both transactions and litigation related to business and internet (i.e., cyberspace). I have an extensive background in technology and hold a bachelor's of science degree in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Database Management Systems.

I am offering lessons and tutoring to eager young minds (e.g., students, inventors, business owners, entrepreneurs) on the topics of business law, internet law, electronic contracts, e-commerce, intellectual properties (e.g., trademarks, copyrights), crowdfunding, and digital currencies (e.g., Bitcoin, Litecoin, Worldcoin). For example, the student will learn about these topics in the shortest amount of time to be able to pass his or her exams. The business owner or entrepreneur will learn about preventive and reactive measures in order to protect the business enterprise. I will also elaborate on recent developments regarding online privacy, cloud computing, cyber piracy, internet sales tax laws, search engine privacy, and online banking fraud.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Law

I am the principal and founder of my own law offices. I am licensed to practice law in the State of California, District of Columbia, and the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts. I have an extensive background in technology and hold a bachelor's of science degree in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Database Management Systems.

I have conducted seminars regarding online privacy, cloud computing, cybersecurity, crowdfunding, crypto-currencies (e.g., Bitcoin, Litecoin, Worldcoin), cyber piracy, internet sales tax laws, search engine privacy, and online banking fraud before legal and non-legal organizations, including, but not limited to, the State Bar of California, State Bar of New Mexico, University of Tulsa-Oklahoma, Rotary International, and Institute of Internal Auditors. I have conducted presentations before educational institutions on the topics of cyberharassment, cyberstalking and cyberbullying.

I have also taught courses in business law, technology, and computer information science before students, entrepreneurs, and business owners who need to learn about the rules and regulations.
