I majored in mathematical and computational sciences at Stanford in 2006 and have been tutoring up to AB calculus and statistics for 14 years. Statistics was about 1/3 of my math major, and I made an A in my number theory class which had a cryptography portion. Probability (especially combinatorics) is one of my favorite concepts to teach. Almost all of my kids have raised their scores by at least one letter grade.
