I hold a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis on genetics, evolution, and development from UC Berkeley, and a B.S. in Biochemistry, summa cum laude, from California State University, Fullerton. Over the course of my career, I have empowered hundreds of students to enhance their scientific skills and improve their academic performance in homework and exams. I bring over 10 years of experience volunteering in science classrooms across elementary, middle, and high schools. Additionally, I have more than 5 years of experience teaching college-level courses in genetics and cell biology at UC Berkeley, as well as over 5 years of experience mentoring undergraduates in study skills, time management, and the application processes for college and graduate school.
