Hello. I'm a studying EMT and future Physicians Assistant who graduated with a B.S in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I served as a teaching assistant who would assist the teacher in grading as well as helping students study harder, better and be successful. I have no official tutoring experience at the moment. However, as a teacher's assistant, I would often help other college students in their studies and preparation by showing them methods or patterns which resonated with their learning style.
Knowledge is power. Therefore, studying and learning are invaluable. In the relationship between a tutor and his or her tutee, the receivers of knowledge, independence, and experience are the two.
I have a B.S in Biology with an emphasis in Human Health and a minor in Chemistry. I have participated in research concerning Central Valley agriculture which is in the process of being published. I have won awards for two research experiments concerning Physiology and Chemistry. I have shadowed multiple medical professionals. I am currently a studying EMT who has participated in 36 hours of clinical work in the emergency department.
I am an easygoing person who likes to teach and learn along with the person I'm helping. I'm genuine about my teaching as long as the student is willing to learn. One of the first steps to building a solid foundation is to be comfortable. Therefore, I am willing to adapt myself to ensure the student finds his or her meeting location, time, and my various methods of teaching safe and helpful. Hello. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
