California State University, Bakersfield (Chemistry)
I attended California State University, Bakersfield where I recently graduated in honors with a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry/Biochemistry. I am originally from Africa and moved here in Bakersfield five years ago.
While attending CSUB I had some experience in grading and working with professors to help out students. I love being able to assist students who are struggling with their academics, therefore I would be willing, ready, and efficient in helping any student that requires my help.
As a science major I took a series of math courses all the way to calculus II. I am confident I can assist students in need of help in prealgebra/algebra.
I was a chemistry major, and have always had a stronger foundation and understanding of chemistry more than any science subjects. This may also be as a result of my love for chemistry, I enjoy the subject.
French is my first language and I am very fluent in it. I would love to help anyone trying to learn how to speak or write the French language.
I have lived with children for most of my life. I had to check my cousins' homework, teach them everything they could not comprehend on their own. I would love to have the opportunity to help elementary students that need tutoring in whatever subjects they may have difficulties.
Reading for a while was not one of my favorite activities, but after having to take multiple courses that require constant reading of articles, research papers, academic essays, and practicing for ther verbal reasoning section of the MCAT, I have acquired great reading skills over time.
It would be my pleasure to tutor any one of you out there that require help. I am more than willing and determined to improve your understanding and knowledge of the concepts you do not comprehend.
Thanks for your consideration. I attended California State University, Bakersfield where I recently graduated in honors with a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry/Biochemistry. I am originally
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
