I believe that all students should be given the opportunity to succeed and do their absolute best. Tutoring genuinely makes me happy!

Math and Physics are my favorite subjects. I could honestly go on for hours talking about them. I have gotten 5's on my AP math and physics exams, as well as have a 4.1 GPA as an areo/astro engineering undergrad. I hope I can help students understand STEM through patience and explanations that fit their learning style.

I understand that school can be hard and stressful. As a college student, I hope I can relatable and helpful in your learning process.

I used to attend the Los Angeles County High School of Arts as a theatre major. I have been in numerous plays and musicals. Also I use to be a teaching volunteer at the Metropolitan Educational Theatre Network. I am also SAG and equity eligible.

Elementary Math

I have taught pre-algebra to calculus to various students. I used to volunteer at elementary schools as a tutor for math, science, and robotics. I also love math and working with kids!

Homeschool

Algebra 1,

Algebra 1

I have tutored elementary and middle students in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). I also volunteered to help teach a summer math course at my local elementary school. I was a TA for AP Calculus AB my senior year of high school. I was also president of my school's California Scholarship Federation, tutoring high school students in all subjects.
Calculus,

Calculus

When I was a sophomore in high school, I took the equivalent of AP Calc AB (Math 19) at Stanford. I have taken AP Calculus BC and received a 5 on the AP exam. I was also a TA for my high school's AP Calculus AB class when I was a senior.
Geometry,

Geometry

As a second year engineering student, I have taken geometry in high school and apply it throughout my college experience. My senior year of high school, I tutored a student from a different school throughout the year and acted as their teacher to fulfill their online requirements. I also tutored students after school in all subjects of math. Geometry provides a more abstract and different view of any other math.

I can teach up to multivariable calculus :) I have taken AP math and university level math classes!
SAT Math,

I have taken the SAT and received a perfect 800 on the math section. In addition to tutoring various students for the SAT, I have also tutored all math: algebra through calculus (all topics covered on the SAT). I love working with students :)

Helpful and Patient Tutor

Isabella helped me throughout my confusions on AP Chemistry. Walking me though topics that were difficult and hard to process. She helped me get a high grade in that class and she was always ready to answer my questions.

Great tutor

My son is studying for an AP physics and right after doing his first lesson with Isabella, he had me schedule another right away. I am glad to find someone that connected with his needs to get him ready for his final.

Super helpful and collaborative!

Did a great job at walking me through BC Calculus problems I was confused by and taught me easier methods of solving than what my teacher taught me. Isabella is definitely passionate about math and was always open to clarifying and re-explaining.

Great tutor

Isabella was extremely patient and knowledgeable about Calculus, and cleared up all of the things that I had been confused about by illustrating the concepts behind them and explaining why things worked the way they did!
