Hi there! My name is Danielle and I would love to be your tutor :) I graduated from UCLA with a double major in Chemistry and Physics and a published research paper under my belt. I have also been playing music for over 10 years and am still learning how to play new instruments right now! I have over six years of private tutoring experience working with a variety of students one-on-one as well as leading group sections. I'm a curious learner myself so during sessions I like to ask questions that let me know what you understand and make sure that together we can build off of that and leave you feeling confident and ready to tackle any problem on your own.
I find tutoring to be very fulfilling because there is nothing quite like that a-ha moment when something clicks in your head. Patience and compassionate are very important when I'm working with students, and with those in mind I would love to be apart of your learning!
Math provides us with the language to understand our world. With that in mind, I draw connections between calculus and relatable, tangible examples that allow those abstract concepts to really sink in. After many years of taking math courses, I was really able to utilize everything I learned and apply them to research problems. Because of this, I have a thorough understanding of calculus from its conception all the way to its application.
I have extensive experience studying, doing research and tutoring in Chemistry and Physics. I am fascinated by how all of these different fields intersect which has given me a deep appreciation and understanding for how equally important they are apart as well as together. I have approached these fields from hands-on, theoretical and research perspectives and can offer thorough insight for any of these fields.
Music is a very subjective experience and I believe it takes patience and
