One of the things I've learned from coaching is seeing how I can have an impact on someone's athletic career and seeing them improve as a player. I love how I can connect or relate to each athlete I've coached because I was in the same position they were in at one point. I do everything I can by making sure they feel comfortable and confident on what they're working on. Depending on what they need to work on, I make sure that the drills I set up works best for them to see the results in the end.
Sports have always played a huge role in my life. I started playing soccer when I was two years old so I've been playing for eighteen years. It was the first sport I've ever played and have always loved it. I played throughout AYSO, middle school, club, high school, and in my first two years of college. I've also played softball since I was five years old, so I've been playing for about fifteen years. I also played through elementary school, middle school, and high school. This was the second sport I've played and just like soccer I still love it till this day. Another thing I've had the privilege of being a coach is coaching baseball. By playing softball, it's helped me with coaching baseball because the skills are the same. I've been around baseball players my whole life and I've always loved it! Even though I've never played baseball, I'm still able to help players with what they need to improve on. I understand the game really well and I love how even though I've never played, parents still take a chance on me and I'm able to help them exceed.
