Loyola Marymount University (Computer Science)
I am a junior computer science major and psychology minor at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. I have a 3.71 gpa in college, and maintained a 4.5 gpa in high school. My strongest subjects are Math and English, but I am comfortable in most all material taught in school. I love to learn and teach, it is amazing to be able to help someone understand a concept, and it is something I truly enjoy!
I have been a tutor and nanny for many years. I am also an Undergrad Research Fellow and our research is primarily done with middle school girls and teaching them about engineering in technology. I love designing fun experiments to introduce them to fundamental principles. Even more exciting, is being able to show these young women that engineering can be fun!
I received the outstanding achievement award in both Advanced Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus. I am proficient in math up to College level Calculus II.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
