Todd was very helpful, friendly and patient, with a great way of explaining the key concepts. He was very good at helping me to prioritize the important and necessary information.
Todd helped me understand the subject of statistics more clearly. When i started tutoring with him i was'nt so confident about my work but now i feel way more confident. Also, he is really flexible with one's schedule which thats a huge plus.
He has a solid understanding of the subject matter. Additionally, he takes the time to listen in order to understand my learning style and determine the best method of teaching, relevant to me and my tutoring needs.
Patient and friendly. Todd is able to walk me through all my calculus work. I come out of our study sessions a much stronger calculus student each time.
Todd has been helping my son with chemistry. He is very patient and genuinely interested in making sure my son understands the different concepts.
After numerous sessions with Todd, we are still pleased with his stats involvement. Always on time and always ready to support. He is valuable beyond words this year in AP math. I highly recommend him to anyone who has a student in any advanced placement math courses.
My daughter was very excited after working with Todd. She felt that he was knowledgeable efficient and most important effective. Todd was not her first SAT Math tutor, but is likely her last. He really helped her understand how to effectively analyze the material in a way that will help her achieve the score she needs for her college goals.
Very good for identifying where students are having trouble and good at grabbing their attention. I would refer him to a friend.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been a software developer/engineer for over 20 years. I have been writing programs in C/C++, Java, and Perl during that time. I have tutored both C++ and Java in the past.
I have worked as a software engineer using Linux for over a decade. I have tutored computer programming (C++ and Java) on the Linux platform several times over the years. I have been tutoring math, science, and programming for over 20 years.
I am a Data Science Engineer and have been coding in C, C++, Java for several years. I have now been coding in Python for over 2 years and am currently working on projects that include Python. Previous projects have included using Python to load text files and classifying these files by sentiment (positive or negative) using scikit-learn (a python package).
