My name is Natalie and I am from Orange County, California. I have worked as a tutor and/or teacher's assistant for many years, ranging across many subjects. Ever since I was young, I have always desired to be a teacher. I enjoy teaching all ages of children as well as adults and sincerely enjoy the challenge of finding new and fun ways of instructing, coaching, motivating, and teaching in all subjects, especially the Spanish and English language. I have always been interested in language and communication in general, and am in the process of getting my graduate degree in Spanish from Arizona State University Online. I have also attended Cal State University Long Beach, majoring in Spanish and minoring in Theatre Arts. I think it is important to note that each student is different, in both their learning abilities and preferences and as a teacher and/or tutor, it is extremely important to cater to each individual student's needs and provide a lesson plan based on those needs and preferences. I hope to assist students and parents in their learning struggles, allowing them to truly understand and comprehend the material, not just pass tests. To learn is to grow and mature and discover your potential and true purpose in life and I am so happy to assist in any way that I can!
I understand that each student comprehends differently. I am able to quickly identify the issues that the student is having and provide a better understanding of the total concept at hand by strengthening the core building blocks of math that will enable the student to flourish now, and in the future.
I come from a medical background and have always been very interested in the intricate biology of our planet Earth and our human race. It is important to understand all of these details as they are present and relevant in any science course.
