American Musical and Dramatic Academy (Music Theatre)
Hi, my name is Melia. I am a recent graduate of AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy). I have a bachelors degree is Music Theatre. I was classically trained on the piano for 14 years and have been playing for 20. I started singing and writing my own songs at the age of 12. I went to Berklee College of Music and received a certificate in jazz.
Music has always been a huge part of my life. I absolutely view music as therapy for the soul. It brings me such joy and I would love to pass that on to new students wanting to learn about music, whether it be beginning piano lessons, learning how to use your voice to the fullest, sight reading, and songwriting!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
