I am an ambitious person looking to make a difference in the way people communicate with each other. I love to help my students to achieve their goals. In 2013 I graduated from California State University, Long Beach, obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Spanish. Also, I studied 2 years of Italian. I consider myself very passionate about learning languages. I'm currently looking for internship opportunities that will give me professional experience to become a professor to teach at college level. I have 2 years of teaching Spanish on my own time (private classes). I love tutoring Spanish because of enjoy seeing my students improve their work skills.
My expectation from my students are to be ready to give their 100%, study, do homework, and memorize vocabulary. I will teach according to my student's level and his/her needs. I like to go over basic Spanish review to refresh for a better understanding in grammar, verbs conjugations, accents and conversation skills. During the class I will have listening, writing and speaking exercises. I am happy to answer questions or lecture about Spanish culture to expand my student's Spanish knowledge.
I am flexible with time. I work around my student's schedule so we can obtain a great academic progress. If the student needs to cancel I totally understand and I only request to let me know as soon as possible by an email and text message. I suggest the classes take place in a Public Library or coffee shop. Also I am open to any ideas where the class should take place in order to obtain the best academic environment. Please communicate to set up your next tutorial sessions by email or phone call and I will reply back as soon as I can.
Learning Spanish opens the doors to my students to communicate with 21 countries. Please give yourself a chance to communicate in Spanish.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hear from you to communicate soon in Spanish. I am an ambitious person looking to make a difference in the way people communicate with each other. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
