I have experience tutoring college and high school students in Spanish language grammar, spoken language, and writing. I have more that 25 years experience in study and use of Spanish language and literature, both peninsular and Latin American. I am trained in theory and practice of second language acquisition via Spanish linguistics courses and seminars. I can train both native heritage bilinguals and English speaking beginners in how to understand Spanish language lessons, how to read Spanish, how to pronounce the language and how to get an ear for comprehension of the language. I can help both the Spanish one beginning student as well as more advanced students for all the help they may need in exams, written assignments, classroom presentations and projects, speaking in dialogue practices, spelling, and I can answer whatever questions they have about grammar. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
