About Larry

Bio

Music is my passion. As a professional Pianist, Vocalist and Songwriter I have toured the United States, and made my living working as a songwriter, vocalist, recording artist and pianist accompanying singers and instrumentalists, as a soloist, as a recording studio keyboardist and as a member of various ensembles.

I am an award winning songwriter and member of The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.

My tutoring methods are meant to be fun and to listen to what you want...

I studied music history in college and was part of the beginning Rock and Roll as we know it. I was in a Rock and Roll band who released 5 commercially released record albums, two of which were produced by Todd Rundgren. I was on tour and been part of many shows with such artists as Santana, Blood, Sweat and Tears, the ELO orchestra.

I was a choir member from 5th through 12th grade and became very proficient at sight reading and harmonizing. I have helped theatrical singers rehearse, including proper breathing exercises breathing from the diaphragm, diction and pronunciation. I also use the chromatic scales and arpeggios to increase and strengthen my students vocal ranges. I am also well versed in all styles of music from Lieder to Jazz.
