In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Well for the past 4 years I have helped very close family and friends acquire college credits while they are in high school. I am actually pursuing my Juris Doctor degree; took a time off to help some of my students that I have taken since they where in elementary school prepare for several college entree exams. I am very proficient in maths and I love the intricacy and the passion that exhumes when a students grasp an understanding of what you are teaching. I think the feeling is "priceless".
Have tutored high school-college students who have seen more than 60% improvement by 10 sessions

I have tutored GED students with a 95% success rate for the past 10 years.
I have been teaching algebra for a while now; and teaching Linear Algebra fro me comes as second nature. I have credits from college for College Algebra, Statistics and calculus. I think i will do well also teaching Liner Algebra.
