Hello my name is Kristen C. I have been tutoring since my sophomore year of high school. I have been working with students in a school setting for the last 4 years. I love to help students any challenges they may come up against. I have three degrees in the area of education. I enjoy learning and glove to share that with others. Sometimes all it takes is another view on a subject for it to make sense to the students. I know we all learn in unique ways and I would love to help students succeed in their academic careers. I look forward to working with all of you!
I have a teaching certificate for K-8. I have always loved learning and I love to help students understand areas where they have been struggling. As a teacher I had to teach all subjects and I have been tutoring for many years. I have always loved Social Studies and like working with students to help their knowledge grow. I have always found learning to be an enlightening experience and I like to share that with every student that I help.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
