I am a working professional with a passion to teach others. I want to see students succeed in their classes by helping build a solid knowledge base that allows them to excel in future advance courses. As a graduate of a science focused curriculum in pharmacy, I recognize the academic rigor necessary to learn concepts, think critically and apply knowledge.
During college I developed an enhanced appreciation for chemistry, a subject that had always interested me but I had some hesitation of the perceived difficulty of the subject matter. I realized that this subject can be intimidating but easily demystified once building a good understanding of fundamental concepts. I found that the key to success can come from confidence in knowing these basic concepts and growing from it. It all begins with a good foundation and a positive attitude! For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
