Many of the records I was involved with were hits in Japan and I can boast a number one record and single in the UK, recording and mixing 'High on the Happy Side' with the popular Scottish group Wet, Wet, Wet. I have also recorded many successful records in the US, including records by local artists such as Rainer, Giant Sand, and the Sidewinders. Three records I produced in this country made Spin Magazine's 'Top 80 Records of the 80s' list.
I studied piano from the age of six and continue to play, often professionally.
