Arizona State University (Justice Studies and Poli Sci Minor)
Hello my name is John B. and I am a recent Arizona State University alum. I am here to help aid individuals in reaching their academic and fitness goals. I am hardworking, caring, always on time, and ready to put forth the extra mile no matter what. I received the Dean's Medalist Award for the School of Social Transformation highlighting my academic prowess, so I am confident that I can help aid anybody in reaching their academic goals.
I am qualified to tutor in political science because I obtained a political science minor from ASU. In doing so i never received less than an A in any of my courses, and feel that I am confident that I can help aid students in learning more about the in's and outs of politics both in our own nation and outside of our nation.
I was an outstanding track and field runner in high school before an ankle injury that required extensive surgery. While a runner I won several awards, was the top runner on my team, and was on my way to becoming one of the top runners in the state of Arizona. I know the proper training that it takes to become an amazing runner and am back to running competitively myself in marathons and other events. I also know the proper mechanics of running and feel that I can take anybody and help them improve, no matter the starting point.
I encourage anyone interested to contact me. I can work with children and adults of any age. I have worked with children for the last 5 years at Lifetime Fitness gym and love to interact and help them grow. Hello my name is John B. and I am a recent Arizona State University alum. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am qualified to teach and train young men and women basketball because it is a sport that I played at a very high level for many years. I played AAU ball on a nationally recognized team with current and former NBA players Nick Johnson, Alan Williams, Jahii Carson, and many more. I also was awarded several Division 2 scholarships during my high school career, which I decided not to take because of a nagging ankle injury. However, my ankle is healed now and I am ready to take your son/daughter, or heck even yourself to the next level!
I am qualified to teach Criminal Justice because I took many criminal justice courses at Arizona State University on my path to my bachelors degree in Justice Studies. At Arizona State University I received a 3.94 GPA and never received a B in any of my classes. I have always had a passion for criminal justice courses and feel that my passion and plentiful information in the field will be a huge asset to many!
I have never been a fitness instructor, however, I have modeled my life around being healthy forever. I feel that I have the necessary tools to help men and women of all ages to reach their fitness goals. Aside from playing competitive basketball for years, I also ran track which required me to be in top physical shape. To this very day I run in marathons, participate in different events, and consider fitness to be a top priority of mine!
I received a political science minor from Arizona State University, where I maintained a 3.93 GPA. In all of my political science courses I received an A and proved that I am very knowledgeable on the topic. I feel that I can help any student succeed in this subject, and provide my expertise to help them learn.
I used to be a track and field athlete until I had ankle surgery. During my time as a track and field athlete I was one of the top athletes in my high school and in the state. I still run marathons, and run competitively in races and feel that I know the three most important aspects of running. These three aspects are preparation and conditioning, stretching and dieting, and mechanics. I know that I can take any athlete no matter what level and help them improve.
