I absolutely love children and have several years experience working with kids of all shapes and sizes:) I taught in Tempe as a Special Education Teacher for seven years in a self-contained, cross-categorical classroom. I absolutely loved teaching and woke up every day happy to go to work. My philosophy is to make education fun by playing games, singing songs, and utilizing children's interests to motivate them to learn.
I am a recent graduate from Arizona State University with a Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis. I am looking to work with a child or children in need of Applied Behavior Analysis while I acquire hours towards my Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst. I have two teaching certificates, one in Special Education K-12 and one in General Education K-8. I am also a Board Certified Teacher with the Board of Professional Teaching Standards. I have worked as a home-bound teacher throughout my years with the Tempe Elementary School District.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
