I have been working as an interpreter and tutor for 7 years and I taught an ASL club consisting of about 20-25 students all of last year.
I love sign language and teaching others how to sign! It is the most unique language you can learn in my opinion:) I hope that I can assist you in your journey to becoming a more fluent signer~!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am a qualified tutor in Sign Language because I have taken 7 years of classes in American Sign Language and Deaf studies/Deaf Culture. I have a degree in this field as well as a Masters in Education. I also have been an educational interpreter for the Deaf and hard of hearing for 8 years now:)
