Hi, my name is Marisa. I do not have a degree in teaching, but I was a tutor in high school for college alg/trig. I also graduated top 5 in my calculus class my senior year. Not only did I graduate with distinction, but I also was in the National Honors Society. I worked very hard in whatever I did, and I would like to help you progress and push you to your limits. Also throughout my high school years I was involved in many honors classes. I took honors Government/Economics, and English 101/102. I also was honored many sports plaques.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
