My name is Jesse A. and I'm a fashion photographer as well as the Creator/Editor of Angelic Magazine; a magazine that combines faith, fashion and life into one realm.
As a senior in high school I took photographs for our school's website and that was my introduction into photography. As a freshman in college I took my first black and white photography course using a 35mm camera. During my senior year of college at Arizona State University, I began photographing fashion photography and nearly three years later I've developed my craft into more opportunities for myself. I shoot with both digital as well as film cameras.
I like to work with people and feel that sharing my knowledge of photography with others will perhaps inspire them to become a photographer themselves.
I believe if you can photograph fashion, you can photograph anything. Fashion photography takes the most creativity and everything else follows suit from there. Portraits, band photography, senior pictures, weddings, etc, fashion photography is a skill that will help you.
There's no proper way to capture a photo, that's the beauty of photography but the skill in photography comes from understanding your lighting and knowing when to click your camera at the opportune moment. My method of training is to teach others my techniques of utilizing and capturing light. View my online portfolio as a reference to capture light in photos.
