I have also given many public lectures and talks, and help my students to feel at ease with the language and public speaking. I love teaching and have stayed in touch with many former students. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a Ph.D. in Religious Studies and taught Biblical literature for 20 years. I also taught theological subjects and spirituality at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
I have given public speeches and papers for over 30 years, all with great success. Many of my university students, both undergraduates and graduate students, asked me to tutor them on their own public presentations. They all met with consequential success in their public speaking and presentations in their particular careers.
