I founded a corporate training methodology to certify new and existing employees in networking and security technology areas. The goal is to allow areas with very small technical workforce (rural areas and small towns) to fill shortage areas in IT. Taking this to an online platform will help to fill even more of these critical shot skills.

Building a community’s workforce increases the area’s longevity, prosperity, and promotes a greater sense of belonging. All my life there have been those who took the time and energy to teach me the valuable skills and knowledge they worked to gain. This is my opportunity to continue that tradition and build the community from within.

I was one of the foundational engineers for the JRSS project...don’t hold that against me.

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) for 10+ years, penetration tester, security auditor, and solutions architect for the largest telecommunications company in the world.

Lessons are flexible and delivered in digestible chunks. We will spend time on the areas that confound you the most (like subnetting!) and reinforce the areas you have mastered with quick drills that will allow you to easily pass your networking certification tests.

I was studying for my Network+ for a few months, but just wasn't confident and had the exam a few days away. In just 1 session with Michael, he was quick to discover where the gaps in my knowledge were and provide me with guidance on what I should practice and review. I had picked up on concepts that had escaped me for weeks. I ended up making my worst areas into my best thanks to that guidance and it really came through for me when I took the Network+ exam yesterday and passed!!
