STEM Researcher with a passion for Teaching

I'm Kayla! I graduated cum laude from Case Western Reserve University with degrees ranging from Theater to Chemical Biology and continued my graduate studies there in Applied Anatomy and Neurobiology and went onto Parson's New School with a Master’s of Science in Strategic Design and Management.

I was able to achieve the highest scores on 10 AP tests in high school and had the highest GPA in my school's history, these accomplishments awarded me the honor of being the youngest initiate into Ohio Public School’s Proud Products.

I spend my days as a STEM professional specializing as an anatomical donation researcher. I have past experience working as a science summer camp specialist and summer school teacher where my main goal was to make learning fun and to find ways to help students connect to the topics in a way that makes sense to the student. I am a firm believer that all students learn differently and that it's often about meeting the student where they are and finding ways to help them understand a topic that makes sense to them.
