Very knowledgeable and patient tutor

Philip did exactly what we were hoping for and exceeded our expectations. I was hoping for a physics teacher to teach my daughter (freshman biology major) how to understand physics and find the solution to problems herself and that is exactly what he did. He taught her how to think about the problem, what is the lesson about, why do physicist use those equations, what's behind those calculations ...etc and my daughter succeeded with 97.5% solving all the problems on her own. When she asked Philip about a problem, he gave her guidance. His patience till she reaches the solutions herself no matter how funny the problems were in the text book she had to study at university (and there were many weird problems) is very much appreciated. We are grateful for his patience. They say give me a fish and I will eat today, teach me to fish and I will have food every day. This is exactly what Philip did, he taught her to fish physics :) . We are grateful for all the work he did during this hectic summer block term. My daughter has to study another physics course, and you guessed it, we will certainly consult him again. Thank you Philip for all the effort.
