I've been doing professional photography since the mid '70s. I first shot 3-D with a Stereo Realist and later moved to 2 1/4" format. In 2000, I got my first computer and my first digital Nikon. The first program I bought was Photoshop 5 and I quickly realized that this is what I loved doing. I have owned every version of Photoshop since then. I still love Photoshop! I think it is pure magic and I would hope to impart that feeling to any students. At my day job, I work daily in InDesign, Photoshop, Bridge, and Illustrator. I also have some experience in Flash, Fireworks and SoundForge. I have a personal subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud. I do not teach web design. I will teach Photoshop, photography, photo restoration and page layout. I have recently turned my 81 year old uncle in New Hampshire into a Photoshop nut through the use of Skype lessons. This is a very viable way to learn Photoshop if distance or travel time becomes problematic. Thanks for reading my profile.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
