I believe in an individualized approach to learning. Each student has unique goals and learning style. Understanding that and tailoring an effective approach for the student is what makes teaching exciting for me. It is an opportunity and a privilege to be a part of someone else's learning experience.
My rates are reasonable and my experience includes working with children, business owners, healthcare workers and attorneys.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have taught many students English and assisted them in completing ESL/ESOL courses both at the high school and college levels. This is very rewarding because it is an honor to be able to assist people in reaching their goals. I have seen students struggle for different reasons over the years but the ones who focus and are willing to put the work in are always successful!
I did my Master's work in Secondary Education and have had the privilege of successfully helping several people pass the GED exam.
