My name is Justin Fischer and I have been teaching for over 8 years. I have experience teaching grades 4 and 6. Since I began teaching, my students have reached extremely high test scores. From 2007-Present over 80% of my classes have passed the AIMS Reading, Writing, and Math Test. Needless to say, I hold high expectations for my students. I believe that children can reach their goals if they have someone to teach and set the bar for them to be great. This is what sets the good teachers apart from the great instructors.
Over the past few weeks, I have changed from teacher to administrator. Due to my students' academic achievement and my classroom management style, our district hired me as Behavioral Specialist (Assistant Principal) at a K-3 school in our district. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
