I have a natural ability with numbers and math. I also am very good at conveying this to others who struggle in this area. I have been a teaching assistant for the past 2 years at ASU for College Algebra and my reviews from students have always been outstanding. I am a patient person with excellent morals and values. I make sure that I am thorough with all my students, since math is a subject that always builds upon the topics previously covered. I am confident that I can prepare any student for future success in any math class. Sincerely, Jim

I am an accounting major at ASU. I have been a T.A. for 2 College Algebra classes at ASU for the past 2 semesters, and will continue to be one for the next 2 years until I graduate. I explain things thoroughly and will not move on to a new topic until I am sure you understand the topic at hand. I can provide examples and additional practice problems where necessary. I am outstanding in math and algebra. I know trigonometry and geometry pretty well. A little review in these areas will bring me right back to my high school honors roll form. I have received an A+ in Brief Calculus and an A in Math for Business Analysis (next level of Calculus) at ASU. I know my math skills will help you with whatever you are struggling with. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Jim S.

I am in my 4th semester as a teaching assistant for College Algebra at ASU. I have helped dozens of students excel in algebra and prepared them for the next level of math. This ongoing experience has continuously improved my skills as a teacher and tutor. I have the outstanding ability to teach students in a way so they not only excel on tests, but learn the material for future use. Thank you for your consideration of my qualifications.

Baseball

I have been playing baseball for most of my life. The most important task to developing into a great baseball player is learning solid fundamentals. Next, is always having your head in the game and thinking about the situation at hand. By doing these 2 things, most mental and physical errors can be avoided. Play smart and have fun! Thanks, James

Getting an A in math

Definitely get a tutor if you want to understand a hard concept. James has been over a few times to show me math and I have been able to skip a year of classes and get an A, which I am sure I would not have done on my own.

Smart and patient

My son has had difficulty accepting help from others but James has done a great job bonding quickly with my son. As adamant as my son was to not have a tutor he has quietly accepted James for continued help. We are very happy to be working with James.
