Ricardo is a great tutor. He is patient with my son. The once-a-week tutoring session helps my son gain more solid knowledge about Geometry. Ricardo always thinks how to improve on tutoring. We all like him!

Ricardo is a patient and thorough teacher. He has helped our daughter understand math concepts that she was struggling with, and has helped build her confidence. Her grades have improved noticeably. We highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Ricardo F. My 17 year old son had just 4 weekly tutoring sessions with Ricardo for the SAT math section, and significantly raised his score. Ricardo was able to quickly assess my son's weaknesses and then focused practice problems on those areas. Ricardo is professional, super easy going, patient and an all around nice guy in addition to being a great teacher. Ricardo's experience with high school students allows him to explain concepts in a way that made it easy for my son to quickly absorb the material he needed to learn. We found out today that my son was accepted early decision to his first choice college. Thanks Ricardo!

Ricardo was wonderful. He tutored my son for SAT's. Prior to him, my son tutored with one of those tutoring centers that are extremely expensive. Was not satisfied with the results so decided to look for a tutor on WyzAnt. Ricardo was our savior. My son's score improved by 280 points in just 4 weeks of tutoring. I highly recommend him.

I worked with Ricardo for six weeks after failing the praxis several times. He has an incredible knowledge in math and can break down and explain any concept or problem you don't understand. I am NOT a good test taker and I passed with a 153. With Ricardo's help I increased my score by 20 points!!! He is flexible with scheduling and has your best interest in mind. If I can pass, anybody can. You will pass with Ricardo!!!!!!

Ricardo is an absolute Professional. He is currently assisting in Studying for the Math Praxis II to ensure proper certification essential for my Teaching credentials and standards. This is also helpful in providing new ideas for my students (special education) and techniques to share in the classroom. Ricardo is Personable, Patient, always a Professional and knows his Math!! This comes with sincere thanks to him as well as a Excellent recommendation to those seeking tutorial services.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I tutored in university and privately for many years in every undergraduate Math topic. I have a complete head to toe mastery of Algebra, as it's used in all levels of Mathematics.

Algebra II is often a challenging topic for students because it is the transitional piece from "basic" math to "advanced". As an undergraduate in mathematics all algebra II topics rear themselves again and again in Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics and so on. Because of this I have a great understanding and a multitude of practice. I have also taught it from many ranges: standard, academic, and accelerated.

I have extensively independently studied nutrition, exercise/fitness (particularly with resistance, and stretching). I was also the president of my high school's weightlifting club (for 3 years), to which our club helped train a member to 2nd in the state for his weight-class (in power-lifting).

I have been tutoring all types of Mathematics since I was a sophomore in college. I tutored privately for many ranges of Math as well as many ages. On my exit exam for Mathematics, my highest scores of which were in Calculus, I placed in the top 15% in the country. I feel I can help any student with any Mathematical topic. And I have completed a Bachelor's in Mathematics.

I have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, have three years of Varsity Wrestling experience, and have the equivalent of a blue belt in Brazilian Jujitsu currently (am studying).

I have extensive knowledge in the areas of diet and exercise, and have even conducted research and experimentation on particular diets (particularly psychotropics and their affect on the human brain). I also have received A's in all exercise or nutrition related courses I've taken.

I have a grand slam score in all areas of the Praxis I, as well as a a great understanding in its Math segment as I am a Math major. Also it is practically a copy of the SAT, of which I have tutored and taken to great success.

I have a deep and well versed understanding in most areas math, as I practice it daily, am a JMT, and have completed a Bachelor's in Mathematics.

Precalculus is the backbone of Calculus and introduces students to many topics including Matrix Algebra. I have an excellent understanding of this course because it's referenced and used repeatedly in all the math courses after it.

I scored in the top 15% nationally in the my exit exam for Undergraduate Math. I feel prepared to teach any material from the SAT math. The SAT math portion covers all topics up to Algebra II, all of which I am well acquainted. I have also completed a Bachelor's in Mathematics.

Trigonometry is a bread and butter of mine. It combines all the pieces of Math I enjoy most because it requires analysis as well as logical understandings of shapes.
