I have always had a passion for teaching. For the past 13 years, I have taught Elementary education in the Cartwright School district (grades 4-6). In that time, I have been responsible for the education of hundreds of students. I view that as an honor that is taken very seriously. In that time, my students have performed exceptionally on both the district and the state tests. I cannot envision my career choice to be anything different.
My teaching style is one of always challenging the students whenever possible while also supporting whenever necessary. "I can't" is an unacceptable answer in my classroom. I have the ability and willingness to tutor in both Elementary math and Language Arts.
I have never been a tutor outside of school before, as I have always worked with my own students after school. I feel as though I am ready for a new challenge. I am flexible with the time available, however I am only able to leave school after a certain time. A workable schedule can be arranged. I am open to the location of the tutoring sessions, whether it be at your home of at mine.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
