I do not try to sell students on any one particular method of learning. Every student is different and I encourage them all to embrace the learning method(s) that are most beneficial to them. I will work very closely with you to find out what approach to the subject matter best suits your unique style of learning. Language and history are exciting topics when presented in an accessible way, allow me to help you find a passion for learning regardless of where you currently are in your own studies. Salve, amici!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

My graduate work was in a Classical Studies program where I specialized. Due to the nature of my field, Classical Studies, I have had a history training that is equal to my ancient language training. During my undergraduate coursework I took many higher level history courses that focused on times and places outside of the discipline of Classical Studies. I now teach AP World History in addition to Classics (Ancient History) at a charter school in Phoenix.
