Hi! I’m Dayna! I grew up in Minnesota and discovered my love of math and science at an early age. I received my B.S. in Biochemistry from Iowa State University, and got involved with laboratory research my Freshman year. This caused me to switch gears from attending medical school to pursuing graduate school. I earned a PhD from Arizona State University, and while there, discovered my love of teaching and working with students one-on-one. I taught a senior level Biochemistry course for 5 years. I have tutored middle school through college students in various math and science courses. I have also helped dozens of students with SAT and ACT Test Prep. I’m a problem solver by nature, and I love tutoring because it allows for individualized lessons and getting to the root of what is holding the student back.

I have tutored students in Algebra I/II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, and college math, as well as the Math sections on the SAT, ACT and GRE.

I have tutored Biology, Chemistry (including Honors/AP), and college level Biochemistry. ACT Science is my favorite section on any standardized test because they give you the data, you just have to analyze and solve the puzzle!
