I have advanced engineering degrees in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Illinois. I worked in the Semiconductor Industry for 17 years working in advanced thin film process development. I did this as an individual contributor as well as manager and director of engineering groups. I have had the privilege of mentoring many young engineers and scientists in their first industrial positions. I have traveled around the world many times on business. I have also worked as senior manager in anti-reflective coatings, which required significant domestic travel. Additionally, I have been a successful small business entrepreneur.
I am currently an adjunct Professor of Mathematics at Central Arizona College. I am currently teaching developmental math to at-risk students. I have also taught as a guest math and science lecturer at a Palestine, TX, junior high school.
