I have a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism, training and experience as an ESL instructor, years of experience leading Bible studies, and years of proofreading my own writing.
One of the most satisfying facets of developing training materials was seeing attendees 'get' the points being made, seeing them understand how they could successfully sell or repair Compaq computers. In addition to writing commercially, my two published novels are in Christian romance and Christian family saga genres. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
