Frank was an excellent tutor for my son. Without Frank's help, I don't think he would have passed the college-level Calculus class he was in. My son describes him as a genius and a cool guy. Frank answered all phone calls and texts quickly which was appreciated. Scheduling tutoring sessions was not a problem. I think Frank should consider becoming a math teacher at the college level because there seems to be such a dearth of really good math teachers there. It's one thing to know a subject and another to teach it to someone else so they understand it. My son says he will use Frank for this semester's math also.

Frank is such a knowledgeable individual.. his a mathematical genius.. I was able to comprehend difficult formulas that I couldn't understand..very nice guy.. thanks

Frank answered all my questions and showed me a couple of tricks that were extremely helpful. If you are struggling with Calculus, Frank is your tutor!

Frank knew how to explain the material well and helped me through my lessons. I couldn't of made it through this course without him.

I took Calculus I online through Rio Salado College and was having a very hard time understanding the rigorous mathematical language as well as well as being able to take on the heavy course load. I fell behind very quickly in the course and knew I was in danger of receiving a lower score than I wanted and was at the point of considering withdrawing from it and taking it in person. Before I made my decision I reached out to get assistance, and got in contact with Frank. He immediately helped me feel more confident and was extremely reassuring that with some help that I would not only be able to make it through the course with a passing grade, but that I would in fact be able to get the grade I wanted in order to keep my high GPA. Frank was amazingly patient and knew several different ways to approach each of the subjects so that if I didn't understand one method he was still able to help me understand the topic through another method so I could still master it. I thoroughly think Frank is a life saver and he helped remove the stress associated with learning the difficult subjects involved in Calc I. He was always available to answer questions and also made meeting with him convenient even during short notice. There was never a time that he wasn't available to help me when I really needed it. Frank also has ways to tutor without even having to meet face to face, for example online face timing through the website, making receiving help even easier. I highly recommend him as a tutor and plan on maintaining contact with him and having him be my tutor in my future mathematics courses as well. You won't make a mistake by choosing him as your tutor, you can take my work for it.

Frank is very patient and explains math and breaks it down for a younger person to understand. He designed a worksheet for my daughter on problems that she needs to practice on, and it's been very helpful.

Great tutor! He was available when I would contact him. Really patient and great at explaining the problems. I would definitely would recommend him. Thanks Frank for all your help.

Frank has a way of teaching and explaining without making you feel bad if you're not getting it. He has been a great help in just the first lesson, and look to having him tutor my son son again.

Helped me triple my ASVAB scores! Came up with methods specifically designed for me to help me grow in my weak areas. Motivated me beyond my belief. I am very thankful for him because he has helped me in so many ways. For the first time in my life I love math and I can't thank him enough.

Frank was able to help me with my homework and he understood how to do it. He was patient and loved the challenge that some presented. He was wonderful! I am glad I chose him to help me out.

I had several tutoring sessions with Frank to better prepare me for the ASVAB exam. I was able to double my score on the initial practice exam after receiving tutoring from him, and subsequently exceeded on my official ASVAB exam. He is someone very easy to work with, understand, and enjoy. Highly recommend him!

Frank has all qualities to be a teacher/tutor. Though, he is doing double major in ASU, he has been able to manage time to teach my daughter. We are happy to have Frank as a math tutor.

Frank is very knowledgeable in calculus 2. He explains things very clearly and goes through each problem step by step. He is very patient and understands the questions I ask him. I would highly recommend Frank as a tutor. He is very reliable and spends as much time as I need with me to help me understand the material.

Frank was very quick to respond when I needed help, he was always available the same day. He was very flexible with when and where to meet to make it easiest for me. Very personable and helped me work through all of my questions and explained the thought process and thinking. Definitely made me more comfortable with the material and I felt like I understood the concepts.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

ACT math consists of Pre- Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry. Since all of these math classes are classes that I have done extremely well in, it should follow that I can teach students these concepts. Like many of the high school math classes, it is fundamental to my knowledge and I have several ways to get to the same answer. If one way does not work for you, I can always show another way to get the same answer. Also, as I recall, I did very well on this exam, and I bet you will too if I am your tutor.

I am qualified to tutor Algebra 1 because it is the foundation of all mathematics. I am extremely knowledgeable in mathematics and that would be impossible without impeccable algebra. I have tutored many many people over several years with algebra and I guarantee that I can provide a way that will be understandable to any student. Whether it be purely mathematical or highly intuitive, I can find a way to explain any algebraic topic.

Having been a teacher in the Peoria Unified School District, I can guarantee that I am competent to tutor Algebra II. I taught Algebra II at the high school level 7 times, and I know all of the important information you will need to know. At this level, mathematics can be described in many forms. I can use visuals, comparisons, and relevant facts to help sharpen the skills of any student. If I am your tutor, I can promise that you will be much more successful than you imagined.

I am eligible to tutor the ASVAB because I have taken it and done very well. I typically specialize in mathematics although I can help with the other portions quite well too. I have helped people double and triple their ASVAB scores. I also have an ASVAB book that can be used a study guide. If I am your ASVAB tutor, you will score well.

I would love to help anyone learn how to improve their basketball skills. I played in high school as well as Intramural at Arizona State University. I have a tremendous passion for basketball and love the game!

I am qualified to tutor Calculus because I have took it in high school as well as I took it at ASU. I have tutored many people in Calculus while helping students at the student success center at ASU. I can tutor Calculus 1, 2, and 3. I guarantee that if I am your Calculus tutor, you will understand Calculus deeply and succeed.

I am qualified to teach chess because I have a rating of 1710 and am a solid class B player. I could not teach one how to become a grandmaster, but I could teach a beginner how to advance their play and become an advanced one. I can demonstrate common tactics, strategies and openings.

I am more than qualified to tutor and teach elementary math because it is the core of all mathematics. Math at the elementary level can be explained in a variety of ways. I will be sure to convey a way that best suits the understanding of your child. I have helped some college students with this level of math. Although the questions may slightly vary, I know what to expect and how to answer them.

I am qualified to tutor Geometry because I took Advanced Geometry in high school. Since then, Geometry has shown itself in some of the higher math classes. Since Geometry is a fundamental math, it is a must know for a math major like me.

I am qualified to tutor logic because I have taken 2 college level logic courses and I have done very well in both of them. Logic is very natural to me and I can teach it in a way that is strongly intuitive. I actually enjoy doing logic proofs for fun so I am sure I can make it fun for you too.

I am qualified to teach philosophy because it is one of my two degrees that I have from ASU. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Philosophy with a focus on the Philosophy of Religion and Logic.

I am qualified to tutor Pre-Algebra because it is fundamental to knowing all of mathematics. Like Algebra 1 and 2, it is pivotal to know the basics in order to succeed in math. I have tutored several people in the student success center at ASU West and many have told me that I explain Algebra well to them.

I am qualified to tutor Pre-Calculus because it is a prelude to one of the biggest subjects in all of mathematics: Calculus. I took this class in high school and I received a grade of over 100%. This is the foundation of Calculus. Since I have taken all 3 Calculus classes, Pre Calculus is a subject that I am more than comfortable with and I am sure you will learn a lot.

Being a double major in mathematics and philosophy, I have written a lot of papers. Given this, I have the experience of understanding sentence structure and how to properly formulate one's ideas. I would be more than happy to proofread a paper and help promote this intelligent style of writing.

SAT math is something that is a compilation of several of the key concepts in mathematics. Everything on the math portion of the SAT is fundamental to math and that means that I can tutor it extremely well. I have helped many people with this type of test preparation and I am sure that if I am your tutor, you will succeed.

I have a lot of table tennis experience in my life. I often play against a man who was nationally ranked. Also, I have beaten him quite a few times. Thus, I am more than qualified to improve one's table tennis game. I am not an expert but I can certainly help get any level player better!

I am qualified to teach tennis because I have played for several years. In high school, I participated in the state tournament and did quite well. I am an avid tennis fan and I have taught people before!

I am qualified to tutor Trigonometry because it relates to common things in life. Being a tutor at the ASU success center, I have created diagrams that best illustrate the point of Trigonometry and that make learning it a walk in the park.
