My daughter has had one session and she feels confident in Matthew's abilities to help her. She reports he is easy to understand unlike her teacher, and has good explanations readily available. She will be using him throughout the semester.
Matthew was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. His guidance and expertise with my nursing math was very helpful. I will use him again! Well worth the investment in myself....thanks again!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have tutored all of the subjects on the GED multiple times, including Algebra 1.
Anatomy and Physiology at both college and grad school levels.
I worked as a biology tutor all throughout college, and worked as a biology instructor for a year after I graduated college.
General Chemistry (101, 151, 152...)
I have tutored biology for over five years. I'm currently getting my masters degree in biology. I'm taking graduate level genetics right now, and have an A with one week left in the course. I can handle high school and college level genetics.
I have been a Math tutor at 'The math solutions' at GCC, as well as at the Center for Learning and Advancement at GCU for several years.
I am in grad school, studying to be a physician assistant. I am currently on clinical rotations, and have a good grasp on pharmacology. I had three classes in pharmacology whilst in school, and got above an 88% all three times.
I tutored several classes while working as a math tutor at GCC. Including math 081-151 all of which are algebra and prealgebra.
I have tutored many nursing students for the exam, and they have all passed. I am a masters level graduate student, and I have taken classes for all of the subjects tested on the exam.
