My name is Mr. G.; I am a man on fire to teach to all who want to learn. I have spent most all my life in school as a teacher or a student and now both, a teacher and a student. Learning is meant to be an adventure that will increase your life. I love learning and sharing what I have learned with others. When I was young, I imagined myself on the battlefield of Picacho Pass in 1862 chasing the confederacy out of Arizona. When I became older I would read about the amazing adventures of Ulysses and Jason and the Argonauts and other historical fiction. Now my adventure is about helping you to gain the skills to join me on my adventure that you may grow into a person you want to be and create your own adventure.
Now for some boring stuff for your parents. I earned a B.A. in history with a minor in music at GCU in 2001. In 2007 I earned my M.A.Ed. in elementary education so that I could teach at public schools. Now I am working on my E.Ed. Leadership in K-12 Education. In 2 more years I will become Dr. G.
My hope is that we can discover new worlds and find the joy of learning that I was blessed with 35 years ago. I have taught History, Science, Math, and Language Arts for 14 years and I hope to help you on your journey. Hello Students,

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
