I am very good at teaching Math and Science at Middle and High school as well as college. I have helped all age groups starting at 12 years old through 60 years old.
I have two Master's degrees (Computer Engineering and Business) from University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I taught Freshman and Sophomore Math and Physics at the university's Learning center for almost 4 years. I also worked as a private math and physics tutor at University of Louisiana. I was then hired part time by the ULL Athletic Department to help fellow student athletes maintain high GPA's and academic eligibility.
My qualifications also include tutoring students in Probability and Statistics and some college Chemistry.I live in Gilbert with my wife and our three dogs. For your information: I can travel up to 25 miles from home or meet students at a public place like a Starbucks or a public library. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
