Jill was fantastic from the start and it was so worthwhile. If you need help or advice Jill can lead you in the right direction.
Jill was able to spend time with our Executive Assistant and really help get her dialed in on techniques to improve her efficiency. We got some very positive feedback from Jill after the training session. We highly recommend Jill!
Jill was great. I really appreciate her coming to my home. Jill was very patient and allowed me to learn, and give me the freedom to create and explore while teaching me. I can't wait for our next session.
Had a great first lesson and I look forward to the next one. Jill is very patient, teaches in words you can understand and she makes learning fun. She is fantastic...She's a 10!
I found my tutoring experience with Jill to be very helpful, pleasant, and insightful. She helped me create a very impressive final project for my online PowerPoint class and I couldn't be happier with the final outcome. I'd recommend her to anyone in need of a tutor, I would definitely ask for her assistance in the future if needed!
I found that my experience with Jill was as expected. She helps me develop my working knowledge better with respect to computer systems. I have worked a lot in areas of MS in various ways in government but there is a lot I have not utilized. She is helping open up to new uses and better use of the computer and the MS Suite.
Jill G. is honestly the best tutor I have had! I wasn't sure what to expect and was very happy with the results. Jill is friendly, patient and takes her time to show you as many times as it takes until you "get it". She has a great way of relating to you and your way of thinking. Jill helped me understand Word, Outlook and Excel more than I ever thought I could in the first session alone. She showed me little tricks and shortcuts that save a lot of time. I would highly recommend Jill G. if you are looking for a tutor. She is fantastic!
Jill is a excellent tutor. I described my goals, she assessed my capabilities and set up a program to efficiently and quickly instruct me in the areas I needed to learn or improve. I would recommend her to any person or group.
My first impression of Jill became evident prior to our first tutoring session and has been reinforced over several sessions. Jill’s extra-tutor session communications are very responsive, respectful of my time, pleasant, and always productive. Jill’s MS Word expertise has a wide scope and profound depth. I presented Jill with unique challenges which she masterfully answered, or quickly researched appropriate solutions.
My regulatory compliance consulting business requires the rewriting and creation of vast amounts of documentation, e.g., policy, plans, procedures, work instructions, validation protocols, and summary reports. I have over forty years of word processing experience. Among previous employers and clients, my MS Word expertise set the company’s documentation standards. However, my MS Word understanding is not always accurate or the most effective. Jill resolved my MS Word frustrations; some bothersome over a very long time. I highly recommend Jill as a skilled, personable, and professional tutor.
Jill was very prompt in responding to email inquiries. She was punctual for our meeting. She demonstrated mastery of Word 2010, and she answered all of my questions. She was very hands-on and explained things very clearly. I needed a lot of help understanding where and how Word differs from WordPerfect. I would recommend her highly.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have used Outlook and Outlook Express for many years, and I know all of the features. I will be able to teach a user how to navigate throughout the program to be successful with the email program.
I love teaching people to use Microsoft PowerPoint. I have been working with the product since 1987. I have taught over 500 students how to use the presentation software, and have created many business presentations. Together, we can create a very simple presentation, or we can create a presentation with pizzazz. The most current version of PowerPoint is 2010. I also can work with you using 2003 or 2007.
I have used and trained students to use Microsoft Windows 3.1, Vista, and 7. I am proficient in creating folders and navigating through the Windows program. I have been teaching people how to use computer applications for 26 years.
Microsoft Word can be used to create business letters, research papers, flyers, brochures, resumes, and much more. I have taught hundreds of people to use Microsoft Word, and I can help you too. One of my specialties is to edit research papers formatted in APA style format.
Proofreading papers is a specialty of mine. I can help you review your paper for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors. I am also knowledgeable with APA format and teach this topic to university professors. Your instructor should review your paper for content, although I will let you know if what you have written is not clear and concise. We can work together while I review the entire paper, or we can discuss my comments after I have reviewed the paper. I look forward to helping you with your writing skills.
