I am a university lecturer for the Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University and a program manager for engineering student programs for social innovation. This follows ten years of experience in the engineering industry. I have worked as an aerospace engineer, systems engineering, and project leader.
The main focus of my tutoring method is to give the student a functional knowledge of the material coupled with a 'big picture' understanding. The functional knowledge will prepare students for quizzes, tests, homework, and other graded material, while the understanding gives students a sense of accomplishment and the 'ah ha' moments that make learning fun. Also, This allows students to be successful in a current class they are taking as well as future classes or activities that require this as a prerequisite.
I have a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering and a master's degree in systems engineering. I have worked in the space and defense industry for 10 years. I also have a graduate certificate in system dynamics, a social science and policy studies field, from Worcester Polytechnical Institute.

Group rate for 2-5 students is $60/student. For sessions 2-4 hours my rate is $60/hour. For Calc. 2&3, Diff. Eq., Lin. Algebra, & Engineering classes above Univ. Physics I & II my rate is $90.
My daughter inadvertently ended up in Honors Physics this past semester. About half way through she knew she was going to struggle.
