I was born in Krakow, Poland and spent the first 39 years of my life there. Krakow is the second largest, and one of the most beautiful, oldest Polish cities. In 1987, I moved to the United States, and lived in Stamford, CT for 22 years. About 4 years ago, I moved to Arizona, and now I live in Chandler. I graduated from Economic University (Akademia Ekonomiczna) in Krakow, Poland in Commodity and Food Science, did my PHD there and taught in the same university for over 18 years. Since I have lived in the United States, I have been involved with foreign language schools, and done some Polish language teaching to adults and children, although my primary job was managing a restaurant, before I retired in 2009.
I understand, speak, read and write English. I also know Russian. My interests include European Culture, History, Geography and music (I play piano). In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

In USA I have taught Polish Language in a few foreign language schools. I applied to ASU for Polish Language teacher position. They informed me, I am qualified, however the position was not available at the time.
