Happy to find Tammy after a few years...

Tammy has worked with my son in the past and he was delighted to see her on Wyzant. She was able to re-connect with him and immediately put him at ease. A few hiccups with the online connection, but other than that the session went great.

Tammy is wonderful!

Tammy is the best tutor my daughter has ever had. She is very knowledgeable and explains instructions to Taylor so she understands them. Not only does Tammy instruct on the lesson...but she also looks for Taylor's personal growth around organization. Tammy has really helped Taylor grow at the high school level even though Taylor struggles. She is always positive and provides great encouragement to Taylor. Thank you Tammy!

Enthusiastic, prepared, organized, excellent tutor

Tammy has been tutoring our youngest son for a month now for reading and spelling. But Tammy stepped up to help with some executive functioning skills and any holes he had in math as well! She keeps him on task, engaged, and having fun. She has helped him improve his academic self-esteem. Tammy comes with a tool belt of skills from her education, extra training, and her experience teaching special education students at the high school and tutoring a wide range of students. We are so blessed to have found her this year. Contact her to see how she can help you or your student.

First Lesson

So happy I cried. She spent the first lesson getting to know my son. Then helped him organize his folders and taught him how to use his daily planer to be more organized. Something he can use in daily life. I couldn't be more happier. He came out telling me all about her! He's very happy.

Excellent and knowledgeable

Tammy and my son have only met once so far, but it was excellent; he feels very comfortable with her, and she identified a strategy to help him with his spelling. Looking forward to more sessions.

Knowledgable, friendly, goes the extra mile

Tammy put my son at ease, built into his confidence and zeroed right in on some areas in which he needed bolstering. She connected with him and personalized her instruction. She packed a huge amount of instruction and learning into that one hour, and has sincerely taken to heart my son's learning. We're coming back next week!

Energetic and very knowledgeable

Tammy helped me get the few extra points very quickly that I needed to obtain my GED with Algebra being the most difficult. Tammy was very enthusiastic from day one and that's why I chose her to tutor me. She is very patient and understood what I needed to work on to improve my score. She's the best out there folks. Guaranteed!

Personable, knowledgeable, and professional

Today was my grandson's first math session and it went very, very well. He is normally not comfortable with strangers and will not talk to them, but he carried on a conversation with Tammy instead of just head nods or shrugs! I appreciate her enthusiasm, knowledge, and sharing ideas.
