Re-schedule if a lesson is to be missed; else I come to the lesson & you will be charged a hour lesson. Cannot just skip as I have reserved that time for your student. Appreciate your help.
I think Carolyn is a wonderful tutor and also a fantastic TEACHER. She is very patient with my son. She knows exactly what & where he needs the most work. She works every Math problem step by step so that he understands. He is very comfortable with her. I am very pleased with Carolyn, I wish that she was his teacher all the time. My son is learning and able to keep up in class now. He is also able to help some of his school mates in math now. The BEST.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I currently teach in Clarksville, AR for a music center. I also teach private piano lessons currently in Russellville. I taught for 4 years when I lived in Fort Smith, AR; and taught there for Plunkett Music store.
I studied Advanced Piano from Hattie Mae Butterfield, formerly professor of University of Arkansas/Ft. Smith.
I have a B.S.E. degree which obviously, prepared me to teach and is applicable to any subject. I relate extremely well to my students.
