I am currently a Psychology student at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR. In the Fall 2009, I will be a second-semester junior. I am on track to graduate in December 2010, a semester early. My overall GPA at Arkansas Tech is 3.5 out of 4.0. I went to high school at Green Forest High School in Green Forest, AR. There I was in the Beta Club (honor society), Robotics Club, and cheerleading. I was a Top 10 Junior and Senior. My final GPA was 3.9 out of 4.0. I received the Dean's Scholarship from ATU, which is awarded to students with an ACT score of 24. I also received the Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship, which is given to students taking a rigorous high school curriculum, and maintaining a certain GPA in college. I also received 2 other scholarships from the community. While in high school, I completed 15 hours of college credit through distance learning with a local community college. At ATU, I received 2nd place for the Jack Hamm Student Research Award for my research and participant observation at a local African-American church.
